From Steve Jobs, I learnt the value of simplicity. I want the things I build to feel clear and easy to understand. He reminds me to remove what gets in the way and give the important details the attention they deserve.
Success
Afor.

I enjoy ideating and building. Seeing an idea come to life is the part I keep coming back for.
I am a Computer Science graduate from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. I like understanding a problem, figuring out what could help and taking the first steps towards building it.
That has led me to found GridSenseni, MangoLabs, Mango Academy and Gatherly. My work spans frontend development, databases, authentication, backend logic, integrations, automation and deployment.
As the work grows, I am learning how to build teams around it. I brought together a team to support GridSenseni and am assembling designers, tutors and administrators for MangoLabs and Mango Academy.
I also teach automation at Nanocodes, where I shoot and edit videos as part of my work. I enjoy photography, videography and playing chess. I write on Substack from time to time too.

On stage, at work, behind a camera and somewhere in between.
A few things
I make time for.
A camera, a chessboard, a little time outdoors. These are part of my life too.

Your move.
I play chess too. Here is a small puzzle while you are here.
Select the white queen, then choose her next square.
I recently joined Chess.com. Find me there
A few people
I learn from.
A few people whose work and ideas have helped shape the way I think. Lessons I take into a direction of my own.
He pushes me to think beyond what already exists and take difficult problems seriously. I am inspired by the ambition to attempt something big, understand the work it takes and start building towards it.
From Donald Trump, I take lessons in leadership, bravery and confidence. I want the courage to make decisions, communicate what I believe in and take responsibility for the direction of what I am building.
His teaching reminds me to seek direction, hold on to a vision and stay rooted in faith. Prayer is part of how I think about purpose. I want to keep growing in wisdom while doing work that is useful to people.
A few things
I reach for.
